Mark Bruno

Mark Bruno founded Arbor Global Advisory to help organizations make sound decisions and move important initiatives forward in complex markets. He brings more than 15 years of experience across energy, defense, technology, and international business, with a hands-on approach to strategy, partnerships, and execution.

Before founding Arbor, Mark served as Senior Vice President of International Business Development at Ocean Aero, where he built a $100 million-plus sales pipeline for autonomous maritime technology across eight countries. At Chevron, he held roles in commercial strategy and corporate finance, working across energy-market development, renewable fuels, and investment decisions.

Mark is a U.S. Navy veteran and former Foreign Area Officer. Through assignments in Japan, Brazil, Colombia, and the United States, he built relationships with partner nations and worked alongside interagency teams. At the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, he managed a Foreign Military Sales portfolio valued at more than $150 million and served as the lead planner for U.S. maritime forces in Colombia.

Mark brings that combination of commercial and government experience to each engagement: listening closely, giving candid advice, and helping clients translate analysis into practical next steps. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a B.S. from DePaul University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College’s Maritime Operations Planner Course and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
